If you are a business within the Agribusiness sector and are looking for high quality, trained and motivated staff, then the Sweetest Job is a project that can add value for you. Having identified over 850 candidates during our 2016 campaign that are looking for careers in the Agribusiness sector, we are screening, training and preparing the top candidates ready to be placed into your business.

Candidates will have completed their Certificate II in either Horticulture or Food Processing and will have also completed work-experience to ensure that all candidates are a valuable part of your business from day one.

We employed 24 people through the The Sweetest Job. It is a fantastic initiative giving us access to local people with the skills to contribute to the success of our business.

Candidates will have completed either a Certificate II in Horticulture, for primary production roles, or a Certificate II in Food Processing, for warehousing, logistics or food processing roles. These qualifications provide them with the foundation skills needed to be a valuable asset to your business from day one!


From over 2,000 registrations, candidates are screened and carefully selected to ensure they will meet the rigorous requirements of your business. These top candidates enter the training and work preparation program that provides the skills neccessary to start their agribusiness careers.

Ready to work!

Once these candidates have been screened and trained, they enter a period of on-the-job work experience and work preparation, ensuring that they are ready to work upon completion of The Sweetest Job program. Your new employees are ready to go!
